Ponyo (???????, Gake no Ue no Ponyo, literally "Ponyo on the Cliff"), also known as Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea, is a 2008 Japanese animated film by Studio Ghibli, written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki.

The plot centers on a goldfish named Ponyo who befriends a five-year-old human boy, S?suke, and wants to become a human girl.

Definitely better than Tales From Earthsea - really enjoyed Ponyo but not one of my favourites

My young niece and nephews really enjoy this one--especially my nephew. He drove his parents crazy with it when we bought it for him last year .

I like it too, but it's not one of my favorite Ghibli releases. It's not bad, just not one of their best.

It was pretty good Not in anyway close to the awesomeness Spirited Away or Howl's Moving Castle but it was def. watchable
