I've seen Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, and Kiki's Delivery Service.  Of the three, Spirited Away is by the far the best, in my opinion.  The animation is absolutely breathtaking in some parts.

So far, I've watched Spirited Away, Nausicaa, Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro and Princess Mononoke.
Besides Princess Mononoke, I'd say the rest of them reminded me a lot of the animated movies (mostly from Disney) I grew up watching. Felt very nostalgic.  :)
Princess Mononoke felt a little more mature, compared to the rest. It's also my personal favorite from among them.

My first Ghilbi movie, My Neighbor Totoro, is by far my favorite. 2nd would be Kiki's Delivery Service.

I find it interesting that a single director is able to receive so much attention while there are so many very wonderfully epic anime films (movies without an animated series backing it).

Although I have seen several Miyazaki's films, I can't say I love every single one.  As a matter of fact after you've seen two or three of them they start to get quite repetitive.

Despite that, I must say that I have placed one or two of his films on my top favorites list.

First one is Princess Mononoke -his all-time masterpiece
Second is Kiki's Delivery Service.
Third is Laputa: Castle in the Sky.  (Main reason- Hideaki Anno started his career working with Miyazaki while working on this film.)

Spirited Away was okay, but not especially a fan.  Although for those who ARE fans of this film, I would like to suggest (if you haven't already seen it) "Kami-Chu!" a 16 Episode anime created by Aniplex that follows a very similar theme as Spirited away.

My daughter has demanded that we collect all of the Studio Ghibli films. With good reason, I should say. They are well done, have well thought-out plotlines and excellent graphics. My daughter last saw Ponyo again (I couldn't tell you what iteration...).

The attention to good story development and excellent animation makes these movies priceless, and ensures they will be popular for generations.
