The Death Note live movies

:D They devied radically from the manga but it was kinda interesting as sort of an elseworld tale. Kenichi Matsuyama was incredibly accurate a L, but some of my roommates thought it was too over the top, not realistic.

What do you think? Have you watched it?

Acting and all was good...

The ending was terribly butchered  <_<
I'm a Kira fan... can't see him die before L...  >_<

However, for those who don't like anime, they'll like the live action... that's my observation.

But the live action is too fast and too incomplete. I don't like the live action misa either...  :-"

Even though I like L more than Kira, I'm in favor of the anime version.

The third movie is my favorite because it focused more on the L and Near relationship, something that didn't happen niether in the manga or in the anime.

apparently about live action movies, it is more unlikable than the original.

Examples

Dragon Ball Evolution (live action Dragon Ball)

Changed the way how Goku and Chi-Chi met

They plan to make Pokemon Live Action

About Kekko Kamen live action (Japanese), it's 10x funnier than the original anime!!!
My mother died before I was born! :(

I saw those before I saw the anime or manga, and it's what got me into them. XD However, I really can't stand the guy who plays Light Yagami (not bothered to look up his name). He ruined Shuuya Nanahara in Battle Royale with his horrible acting, too. *Sighs.*
