Seen it :) Real interesting story and yes Makoto' seiyuu did justice to the character. Started as a simple story but became interesting soon :)

oh ,It is a nice film.
The plots are very attractive.
I love it. one reason is the actor.

Reminded me of the Hollywood movie Butterfly Effect (if anyones seen that)... I forget which one came first... this or the Hollywood movie.. I believe it had Ashton Kutcher in it....

The concept of Butterfly effect is a little different too...
Somehow, I like this better...

Anyways... This Anime movie was the first movie to melt the Anime Haters heart. After watching... one guy admitted that even Hollywood movies nowadays don't carry that amount of human content that this one anime had. :)
Now that I think about it, yes! This Anime movie has a great deal of human content...
And that's why the general public (Read Anime Haters) liked this movie.

I loved this movie!! I agree! makoto's seiyuu was awesome!
The ending was like *partially cliffhanger* types but it did the trick! :thumbsup:

i think i've watched this movie like 6, 7 times. the best way to introduce someone to anime. specially girls....heh.
its sweet, and funny, and kind of nostalgic too. the voice actors are amazing. makoto is sooo adorable...
*runs off to watch his favourite bits again*.

I have heard you rave about Makoto Shinkai SG... but what about Mamoru Hosada? Its strange that no one has made a thread here on the movie "Summer Wars" It would appear that DH and I are the only ones to have seen it.... shame.... even fans of Toki wa Kakeru Shoujo will be surprised by Hosadas skill with this movie... even though it is markedly different...
