Only summaries at best (so far). Even those are mostly incomplete and not interesting. I am trying to get them translated by a friend of mine. We will see how that works out.

I already read those some time ago.... they were primarily summaries... and not very complete at that... I want to have the actual novels... like the Spice and Wolf or Haruhi novels I bought recently...

The first few books aren't completely translated. But the later ones are. And you hardly get these translated ones around.
I don't think you can buy translated novels of this series because it just isn't translated.
The anime follows the first few books closely (season 1 and 2) so If you skip those and move forward to the later stories, you'll find them good. (the gaidens can be shoved in anytime...)
