Get Backers (Series)

The Get Backers is a high octane action anime which include characters with some limited special powers. The main characters have a highly magnetic aura about them. Hence you will find equal no. of people who like Dr. Jackle, Ban, Ginji and the rest of the Characters

It's not only the charaters, but also the way action and fight sequences are depicted showing the use of not only physical strength but also mental analytical power.

To elaborate more we would need the expertise of AnimeGuru, but in this anime (indeed any anime) the prime example of the combination brilliant and unsurpassed strategic ability and raw power would be Ban Mido and Dr Jackal......

These 2 characters redefine the meaning of strategic fighting and take raw power to the next level......

Lets just say that Ichimaru from Naruto would have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what hit him if he went up against either of these two.......

Not exactly. Even Ginji shows some brains when he draws static electricity from the Dam to his advantage against Dr. Jackle. So, every charecter makes some use of his/her brains for fighting...

Lets just say that Ichimaru from Naruto would have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what hit him if he went up against either of these two.......

I was referring to the fighting which is seen in some other anime......I meant that nearly all the fighting in GB involves brainpower as opposed to pure muscle.......

Another example would be of Ginji using the rain to his advantage. dont remembre which episode that was in though...............

He uses it in the Violin recovery mission against that big huge guy..... and another instance would be the recovery of the blood for that little girl.... on the Dam.......it was raining then too.....

i guess its because the american dubbing was bad and it didnt have a big appeal. but still didnt it have a big appeal in japan at least??
