guys the last fullmetal alchemist episode premiered today on animax and i'm writing a summary. the animxindia forum fullmetal thread isnt working so i am posting here instead.
Note- the episode originally had no title. Funimation then gave it a title "Laws and Promises" but it wasnt incorporated in the animax version of it.
note- this is the only episode which contained no quote at the beginning.
Edward is lying dead on the ground of Dante's big hall, with a big whole in his stomach, which was done by envy, who wanted to kill him of course. Rose, on seeing this screams "EDWARD!!!!" Everyone in the hall is in shock including Al, Wrath and Rose.
The fuhrers wife and child are going to central along with Riza who is in custody. A same type of car comes the other way and bangs thier car head on. Archer emerges out and says he needs the other car. The driver tells him that everything is under control and the security breach was by Riza. Archer starts shooting at Riza but she dodges and gets her own gun and shoots at him. In the chaos, the fuhrers child runs out of the car.
Mustang is shocked on seeing that the fuhrer has come out alive of his blast. The fuhrer thinks that Mustang is only fighting him to take over as fuhrer for political reasons but Mustang says its to avenge the death of his friends he couldnt save. Fuhrer charges at Mustang and pokes his eye with his sword. Thats when the fuhrers son comes in with a small bag. The fuhrer goes to greet his son and tells him that he caught the rat. But he suddenl freezes and calls his son a fool. His son tells him that he brought the object that was important to him, so that it woudnt get burnt in the fire. But the object is his own skull and hence it makes him weak. He takes some steps back. Mustang rushes to the boy and takes the skull. He uses it and preforms alchemy on Pride
