Earphone
« on: December 24, 2009, 03:30:54 PM »

I'm using Ultimate Ears Metro.Fi 200vi with my iPod. Though I'm quite happy with its performance, still I'm looking if there is a better alternative available which might be reasonably priced :P

The best performance for price point is head-direct's RE0 iem's right now
Selling for 79$ for christmas/newyear and quality is equivalent to any 200-250$ iems
Very very very good if you dont listen to bassheavy music like trance/heavymetal all the time
Google for reviews of it on head-fi and be astounded :p
head-direct's indian distributor is lynx-india

Ive been using them for the least year and doubt ill be able to stand a cheap set of earphones ever again

BUT if you want earbud type of phones, then check out reviews of what yuin has to offer at head-direct....then get it from lynx

there was a 1-day sale at amazon for sennheiser ie8's for 100$....missed it :(

Wow... good thing I didn't buy the ones that were on sale in Nehru place for something around Rs 950 ~ $20 thinking that it was expensive. Now I'm sure it musn't have been original...  o_O

I use two headphones, Bose and Shures. The Shures are in the ear type and they become quite annoying after a while.
